BREDEX is a German IT company that recently branched out to Hungary. Since 1987, we have been developing individual solutions for companies from a wide variety of industries. BREDEX GmbH is based in Braunschweig and our main office is still there. We aim to inspire our customers with our solution-oriented and agile approach as well as with our broad expertise. We are a company with regional roots and a global mindset- we integrate relevant developments in into our own processes and also aim to improve the way that others work through our influence.

Java developer
(offsite, home office)

After an initial onboarding and training phase you will be able to work from home full-time. The training will take place in Germany and last for a few weeks. In this time, you will get to know your project, your team and the necessary tools for your daily work. Afterwards you will be able to work from home and interact with your team via remote technology. We expect that you will visit your team in Braunschweig a few times each year – of course we’ll pay for your travel and accommodation.

Java developer
(onsite, Germany)

When you arrive, BREDEX will help you to find a place to live in Braunschweig. For the first couple of weeks, you can stay in the fully furnished company apartment. During the onboarding phase, you will get to know your project, your team, the necessary tools for your daily work and improve on your German language skills. In your first year in Germany, BREDEX will financially support journeys or family visits back to Hungary.

Your role

You are a part of a team responsible for developing and extending software solutions using agile methodologies
You are involved in planning, design, implementation and testing of software solutions
You participate in agile meetings and rituals such as stand-ups, planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives
You communicate frequently and openly with your team mates about ideas, problems and solutions
You manage the balance between making autonomous decisions and communicating with your team

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable subject
At least 2 years of experience in Java development
Good knowledge of English

TEST CONSULTANT

Your role

You work with your team to improve the quality of the software and processes.
You support the team in implementing quality practices such as reviews, mob programming, test automation, exploratory testing.
You do hands-on testing and test automation for the product, as well as coach the team to improve on quality.
You communicate frequently and openly with your team mates about ideas, problems and solutions.

Your qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable subject.
At least 2 years of experience in software testing / quality assurance, for example as a tester in a team, in test automation or as a test analyst.
Proactive, strong communication skills.
Experience in programming (test scripts or application code) is desirable.
Experience in remote working is beneficial.
Good knowledge of English.
A willingness to learn German (BREDEX will support your language classes).
Willingness to travel abroad.
